The mgm Group Corporation was founded by Matti Weinberg in 1996 and sees itself as an importer and distributor of premium food and beverage products from all around the world.

The main activities are focused on the successful use of attractive market niches, developing new product concepts and brands and the drafting of individual premium gifts for companies. The early identification of trends and hence the launch of new concepts and product lines is another priority.

Among the major clients of the mgm Group Corporation are the leading retail partners and handpicked premium retailers of Switzerland, five-star hotels as the Victoria-Jungfrau Collection as well as various Swiss top restaurants.

The exquisite and varied assortment of mgm Group Corporation comprises carefully selected specialties from the product groups balsamic vinegar, olive oil, sauces and antipasti, pasta, rice, truffle and pates, sweets, marmalades and jams, snacks, spices and tapenades, beverages and frozen products.

Exclusive products and services of superior quality belongs to the company's philosophy. This includes the cultivation and production of food on a sustainable basis. To give this ambitious target even more weight mgm was certified in 2006 according to the official guidelines of the Swiss Ordinance on organic certification by the Institute for Market Ecology IMO, an internationally recognized control and certification institute.
