Terre Exotique - Penja Pepper
Cultivated in the Penja Valley in Cameroon this Pepper by Terre Exotique is a very rare and unique spice. It grows in an extraordinary region that combines the perfect conditions for perfect growth: A harmonious combination of equatorial climate and fertile volcanic soil. Penja pepper remains a rare commodity: following the age-old tradition of Penja pepper, the annual harvest is 18 tons. By comparison, the main producer of Brazil exports 16.000 tonnes per year.

Terre Exotique - International Pepper Specialities
Besides the pepper from Cameroon, Terre Exotique offers pepper specialities from all parts of the world. Each pepper develops its own character, which is to experience it and enjoy. However, these peppers should technically seen not be called “pepper” as those are "spice-berries" and derived from the plant called "Pipernegrum." The long pepper by Terre Exotique, for example, comes from Java in Indonesia. It is supposed to have aphrodisiac and stimulating properties.
