Lucchi & Guastalli
The two agronomists Marco Lucchi & Carlo Guastalli’s, from Santo Stefano di Magra, founded the first plant in Liguria to produce the olive oil DOP of the Riviera. It was already mentioned in the first edition of the famous "Guida agli oli extra vergini" by Slow Food and is today known far beyond the borders of Liguria.
The highest quality of the olive oil is guaranteed by strict choice of only the most perfect, hand picked olives as well as an extremely careful control during all production phases. The speedy pressing in the most modern and only eco-certified oil mill of Liguria occurs within 24 hours from the harvest and ensures the complete preservation of the fruity and fresh character of premium olive oils. Furthermore, the oils display a very low acidic content due to the extremely gentle processing, which stands for a sign of quality of every good oil.
