Since 1856 the d’Ali family has been farming the traditional Zangara estate, in the most fertile region of Western Sicily - which is celebrated world wide for its "Nocellara del Belice" olives. The d’Ali family combines expertise, old family tradition entrepreneurial spirit, respect for nature and a continuous striving for the production of the highest quality product.
The outstanding quality of Tenuta Zangara extra virgin olive oil is produced in one smooth cycle directly on the day of harvesting. This is possible thanks to the unique microclimate of the region, the careful care given to the old olive groves, hand harvesting and gentle cold-pressing. The olive oil from the Zangara estate is amongst the best olive products made in Sicily and has received numerous national and international awards as a first class olive oil.
Tenuta Zangara oil has an elegant aroma with notes of rosemary and almond. Large, choice, meaty Nocellara del Belice olives lend this olive oil an intense fruity taste, reminiscent of green tomatoes, artichokes and fresh cut grass.
